Eric Leenson is President of Sol Economics, a firm that builds strong links between socially responsible enterprises throughout the Americas – North and South. He has been involved in the fields of socially responsible investing (SRI) and business for more than 30 years, serving as the CEO of Progressive Asset Management, the first full service brokerage in the U.S. to specialize in SRI.
For the past seven years he has coordinated the international project “ Socially Responsible Enterprise and Local Development in Cuba.” In this capacity he helped found the US Cuba Cooperative Working Group.Currently he serves as a strategic advisor to Forum Empresa, based in Santiago, Chile, an organization he cofounded. In addition he is a member of the International Advisory Board of Instituto Ethos of Brasil.
